[David nods, quickly, his hands tight on her thighs, and gives a few more languid thrusts before he seems to make his mind up about something.]

Fuck, here, hang on— let me just—

[He groans, tenses for a moment, and then sits up, letting his thighs spread as he tilts forward. He eases Dana onto her back, bowing over her, and then lets his hips resume their pistoning, a little more quickly than before. He follows her not long after, moaning and shuddering as he presses deep inside and comes, remembering how she'd wanted to feel everything and finding that he quite agrees with the sentiment.]

God, [he sighs as he finally eases out of her, sweat beading his brow as he sits back on his heels.]

[ This is just on the right side of too much; her head tips back and she shuts her eyes, focused on the feelings as he thrusts up into her; but when he speaks she looks back down at him, sex-drunk and almost drowsy.

Getting the idea she hangs on as he shifts their position, with a little thrill; a breathy sigh melts into a low moan as he fucks into her faster, though she hasn't got the presence of mind to do much more than hang on and feel. It's too soon to come again, but God, it's good to feel him lose himself in her.

She manages to prop herself up on an elbow and offer a crooked grin. ]

That was... [ She's breathing heavy, not at the top of her eloquence. ] Wow.

[He can't resist reaching over and pushing her hair away from her face; even out of breath and sweaty she's pretty, and he ducks back down to steal a quick kiss off her lips.]

Yeah? [He huffs, moving to stretch out across the other side of the mattress so he can catch his breath and let his racing heartbeat slow.]

Couldn't have said it better myself.

[ After sex is always, in her experience, a little awkward, but her skin is still humming and she hasn't quite found her way to feeling self-conscious. It doesn't hurt that David seems completely at ease, setting the tone as he sprawls out on her mattress.

Her smile softens a little as she rolls onto her side. ]

You can come visit any time, [ she says teasingly. ]

[Once he's regained some equilibrium, David props himself up on an elbow, his other hand raking his wayward curls back away from his face.]

Think I'll have to, [he murmurs, giving her a little grin.] Or you could come over to mine. This bed's nice but it's got nothing on my mattress.

Oh?

[ She lets her gaze rake slowly down his body, appreciating the view. Yeah, she could make a habit of this. Fun, manna, and relatively few strings attached. ]

You'll have to show me sometime.

Happy to.

[David preens a little bit under Scully's appreciative gaze; he's worked hard on his body, spent countless hours in the gym, not to mention the time it takes to carefully trim the neat crop of dark hair that smatters his chest and leads in a trail down to his groin. He stretches, and pushes himself up to sit.]

I should get out your hair, probably.

Hhmnn.

[ The vague noise is plausibly not a dismissal, but definitely an agreement; one more point in David's favor is his good timing. ]

[He leans across her one more time, shooting her a fond smile and dropping a peck on her cheek. Then he finally rolls out of bed and starts hunting down his outfit, piece by piece. David pulls his sweater over his head and smooths his hair back, lingering by the door to add:]

Any time at all. Mean it.

[ The upshot of being in her own home is that she doesn't need to do more than grab a robe, and help him find some of his discarded things. David is clearly magic, because she doesn't feel particularly awkward at all. ]

I won't be a stranger, [ she promises with a smile, seeing him out. ]
