[ Wade himself packs light. Enough changes of clothes to last the weekend, a pair of swimming trunks just in case, toiletries are apparently provided and he's not quite as particular as David on those. He does arrive in a suit. Not the suit, but he'd gone back to the tailor who fitted him with that tuxedo for NYE and requested another be made. Wade is infinitely playful, so he splurged to play the part. He's still wearing the mask when he arrives at David's apartment. ]

[ Annoying anyone down the hall from him as he raps on David's door and calls out from the other side. But at least he didn't break in via window. But he's got transportation lined up and waiting for them outside, now it's just a matter of collecting his boyfriend. ]

I hope you're packed, transport's waiting! Let's hustle!

[David has been busy.

There's the shopping, during which he manages to buy an astounding amount of new clothing. He likes to have options, after all. Then he has to pack, a meticulous and time-consuming process which involves a steamer and a perfectly-organized train case full of skincare and toiletries. When Wade hammers on his door, David answers mid-knock, sunglasses down over his face, wrapped in a long, black cashmere coat with ripped black jeans and combat boots, and toting a suitcase that looks like he's ready to go away for a week, at least.]

Hi, I have neighbors? [Regardless of this lukewarm greeting, he grins and leans up to kiss Wade on his masked cheek.] You look nice, and I don't normally love a corduroy moment?

[ The merc's still got his hand raised mid-knock when a very glamourous David opens the door and completely arrests his attention. Wade offers a hushed oh, as if he wasn't fully aware of this fact and being a nuisance, followed by a brief, pleased hum at the peck on his masked cheek. He's lingering as if he wants to cozy right up to him at the doorway, but David calls attention to his attire, so he looks down at himself. ]

Figured I might as well dress the part... I wasn't sure about it myself but the guy insisted. Weirdly, I think I'm pulling it off.

[ The whites of his mask point down to the ridiculous amount of luggage David is rolling behind him. ]

You look... like you've just panic bought a whole new wardrobe. You know we're just staying for a few nights, right?

No, you definitely are. [David grabs his phone, keys and wallet from the catchall in the entryway, and then gently backs Wade back out into the hallway so he can lock up his apartment. He's too excited about the idea of a weekend away, out of the city and in a locale he's got Earth-equivalent experience with to actually give too much of a fuck about Wade causing a disturbance, at least.

He scoffs at Wade's rather pointed comment about the size of his luggage.]

Okay, first of all, panic has nothing to do with it, and secondly, sorry for wanting to have options. If I recall correctly, you were the one who told me to go buy some slutty swimwear.

Yeah, swimwear for one, not the entire Olympic swimming team! [ Backed out into the hall, he switches his gaze back and forth from the luggage to David, and finally settling on David's fetching appearance. ] Although...

[ He's weak to his boyfriend's charms, even when David's not even trying. He starts to crowd back in on him. ]

Begs the question just how many of these options are costume changes. Rawr.

[ He practically purrs, audibly grinning beneath the mask as he leans in to press a kiss against his forehead. His hand follows down David's sleeve to take his luggage from him. ]

C'mon, if you forgot anything — which I doubt — we can grab it there.

Uh, Alexis would know more about that than me.

[The Olympic swim team, he means. David doesn't back away from the close proximity as he locks up, double-checks that it's locked, and stows his keys away.]

Guess you'll just have to wait and see, won't you?

[He relinquishes his grasp on his luggage with zero fight; he doesn't want to lug it around, so if Wade is going to volunteer he welcomes it.]

I didn't forget anything. I'm very eager to get there and crawl into a hot bath.

God, I wish I could meet her! She sounds so fun!

[ And by fun he means a total hot mess, which... which is fun. Wade summons the elevator and gets inside, rolling David's luggage behind him. This isn't the first time he's spent multiple days together with David, but this is the first that's a trip together. ]

Apparently, they have some kind of magic soundproofing on the walls, even though some of those are basically paper?

[ When David joins him, he punches the button for the ground floor. ]

We should totally test their effectiveness tonight. [ Wink wonk. ]

She is fun. For, like, an hour, until she starts asking you about your Zodiac sign and crying about her man troubles and how she got uninvited from someone's White Party.

[He misses her, though. He can't deny that. Living in the same room with someone for two years will do that to you.

He slants a grin at Wade as the elevator doors close.]

Well, we wouldn't want to waste perfectly good soundproofing, would we?

[ Deadpool's mask turns to look at David about halfway through his grousing, feeling a thread of sympathy. Letting go of his grip on his luggage, he places a hand at the small of David's back, understanding that he misses his sister probably a lot more than he's letting on. He huffs a laugh from under the mask, keeping his tone light. ]

No, sir. Not gonna waste that opportunity!

[ Wade tears off his mask with his empty hand, crowding up on David against the wall of the elevator car. It hasn't been terribly long since they've been together, but he's been looking forward to this, even if it's been only for a day or two. And this time, he doesn't let the call of a few floors interrupt him as his lips search down the side of his neck even as a few of his neighbors board with them.

He might have all weekend to have him, but he's too enamored by his beautiful boyfriend to be worried about who might see him without the mask. It's a first since NYE. ]

[Once upon a time, David would have found Wade's touchy-feely manners to be stifling. Clingy. But as they've grown closer, he's gradually relaxed in his presence, found that not only does he enjoy that constant touch, he craves it. It's almost a balm for his anxiety, a quiet reassurance that he's not alone in all this.

And now, it makes something joyful bubble up in his chest as he's crowded against the corner of the elevator. Why should they waste a single moment of this weekend together? He laughs, head tilted back against the side of the car. He hears the doors open, his neighbors shuffling in, but pays them exactly zero mind, his fingers rucking up the back of Wade's suit coat as they wander up the planes of his back through his shirt. And the mask is staying off? This is unprecedented.

The car regretfully grinds to a stop on the ground floor, and David makes a mournful sound even as he nudges at Wade to signal that they've arrived as the other occupants file out, eyeing them awkwardly.]
